Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based

Location: Milton, FL

Position Description

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the school setting is responsible for conducting student evaluations and providing therapy services in alignment with each student’s individualized plan of care and physician’s orders. This includes maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with school staff, and supporting students’ communication and academic success.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment (required)

  • CCC-SLP preferred; may be required based on state or contract

  • Current CPR, if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray , if applicable

  • Current health certificate (as required by state or contract)

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

    Current Assignments

    1. Full-Time SLP -
  • Schedule: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Full-time: 37.5 hours/week

  • Will share caseload with another SLP (4-day/week partner)

  • Caseload: Approx. 49 contact hours / 59 students

    1. Part-Time SLP – (Maternity Leave Coverage)
  • Schedule: 7:20 AM – 2:50 PM

  • 1 day per week

  • Shared coverage with SLPA + SLP

  • Coverage Dates: March 23 – May (TBD)
