Responsibilities

  • Test Planning and Strategy:

  • Collaborate with design and production teams to understand product specifications.

  • Test System Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain test systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Integrate testing processes into production workflows.

  • Test Execution:

  • Conduct tests on manufactured products, ensuring quality standards are met.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing phases.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze test data to identify trends and improvement areas.

  • Prepare and present reports on test results.

  • Collaboration:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to address testing requirements and challenges.

  • Contribute to design reviews for testability and manufacturability.

  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements in testing phases.

  • Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures and results.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Support the development of quality standards for manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience in test engineering within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.

  • Professional certifications in test engineering and manufacturing.

  • Experience with automated testing systems.

  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or other improvement methodologies.
