Job Overview\ We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and landscapes. The Irrigation Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to meet the needs of our clients.
Duties
- Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems including drip, sprinkler, and underground systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages.
- Perform repairs on irrigation components using hand tools and power tools as necessary.
- Dig trenches for irrigation lines and ensure proper placement for effective water flow.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall garden care plans.
- Provide recommendations for efficient water usage and system upgrades based on landscape needs.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and materials used during each job.
