Millport Lumber Pallet Lumber Maintenance Technician in Millport, Alabama
Seeking a reliable Pallet Lumber Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair pallet manufacturing equipment and lumber handling systems. This role is responsible for minimizing downtime by performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair pallet production equipment (saws, conveyors, nail guns, assembly machines)
- Perform preventative maintenance and replace worn parts
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Industrial maintenance or mechanical repair experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs
