Job Description
One of Insight Global’s higher education clients is seeking a delivery‑focused Principal Technical Consultant to lead the adoption and execution of Agile methodology across a large enterprise environment. This individual will partner closely with product, engineering, and business teams to define clear requirements, streamline collaboration, and ensure the full product lifecycle aligns with Agile best practices. The role requires someone who can influence without authority, drive process consistency, and translate complex business needs into actionable work for technical teams. The ideal candidate brings experience in both enterprise‑scale organizations and fast‑paced startup settings, with strong communication skills, a delivery‑oriented mindset, and the ability to guide teams through Agile transformation. Candidates local to Salt Lake City, UT are strongly preferred.

Proven success driving Agile adoption within large, enterprise‑level organizations
Strong delivery mindset with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable requirements
Demonstrated experience working cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
Background in both enterprise environments and startup‑style, fast‑paced teams, with the ability to adapt between the two
Deep understanding of Agile frameworks and how to apply them to complex product lifecycles
Excellent communication and facilitation skills to ensure alignment across teams and leadership
Ability to influence without authority and guide teams toward consistent Agile execution
Local to Salt Lake City, UT and able to work in a hybrid capacity Background in higher education or other highly regulated environments
Prior work in organizations undergoing digital transformation or modernization
Product discovery experience, including user research, journey mapping, or prototyping
Agile certifications
