Job Title: General Labor - 1st Shift
Job Description
Join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment where teamwork is essential. You will work alongside 3-4 colleagues in assembling trusses using pre-cut wood. Each piece is precisely loaded into a laser system to ensure accuracy in assembly. You will use hand tools to match the wood length and cut to the truss outline, hammer them together with metal plates, and secure them using industrial rollers. Your role will include moving materials to designated areas once assembly is complete.
Responsibilities
Work in teams of 3-4 to assemble trusses.
Use laser systems to align pre-cut wood accurately.
Match wood lengths and cuts to truss outlines.
Hammer pieces together with metal plates using hand tools.
Secure assembled trusses with industrial rollers.
Move assembled materials to designated areas.
Essential Skills
Experience with hand tools.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Proficiency in reading a ruler.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in construction.
Experience working outdoors.
Building experience.

Work Environment
Work in a leading supplier of trusses and lumber, with multiple new facilities being built. This first shift position is Monday through Friday, from 6:00am to 3:00pm, with additional hours as needed on Saturdays from 6:00am to 11:00am. Experience both indoor and outdoor working conditions in a lumber-style yard.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MILLBURY, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
