Job Title: General Labor - 1st Shift - 18/hr
Job Description
Join our team in a collaborative environment where you will work with a group of 3-4 people to assemble trusses. Your role will involve handling pre-cut wood, loading it into a laser system, and assembling trusses by aligning wood pieces and securing them with metal plates. This process includes using hand tools and ensuring the trusses are securely rolled with industrial equipment. You will also be responsible for moving materials once the trusses are assembled.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively in teams of 3-4 people.
Handle pre-cut wood and move it to designated work areas.
Load wood into a laser system for precise assembly.
Select the correct length and cut of wood to match truss outlines.
Join wood pieces together with a metal plate using hand tools.
Ensure trusses are secure using large industrial rollers.
Move assembled materials as required.
Essential Skills
Experience with hand tools.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Proficiency in reading a tape measure or ruler.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in construction.
Experience working outdoors.
Carpentry and building experience.

Work Environment
This position is a first shift role, operating Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 3:00pm, with additional hours as needed on Saturdays from 6:00am to 11:00pm. You will work in a leading supplier's facility for trusses and lumber, which includes both indoor and outdoor environments in a lumber yard setting. Currently, Saturday shifts are six hours long, if needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
