Cable Assembler - 1st Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Cable Assembler to join our team in Milford, OH. This role offers the opportunity to work on the first shift, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a contract-to-hire position lasting three months before direct placement.
Responsibilities
Review daily work orders, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams before starting tasks.
Gather tools, materials, and components needed for the day’s builds.
Assemble electrical parts such as coils, sensors, harnesses, transformers, or control units.
Perform soldering, crimping, wire routing, and mechanical fastening.
Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Collaborate with quality inspectors or engineers to resolve issues.
Document completed work in production logs or digital systems.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety procedures.
Follow all environmental, health, safety, and quality guidelines to maintain a compliant and hazard-free work environment.
Maintain clean, organized work areas in alignment with housekeeping and GMP expectations.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in cable assembly and harnessing techniques.
Experience in soldering and using crimping tools.
Ability to read and work off electrical/cable drawings.
Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards is desirable.
2 to 3+ years’ experience in soldering and cable harness.
Experience with D sub connectors such as DB, MDR, etc.
Familiarity with using intercontact or connectors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to pass a soldering test!

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
