2nd Shift: M-F 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (Plus overtime opportunities)
Payrate: $19.66 an hour to start// paid weekly!

Job Description
This position involves ensuring the accurate and timely kitting and movement of materials to support plant production lines. You will play a crucial role in supporting the assembly and fabrication teams through effective material movement, stockroom replenishment, and providing support to the shipping team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to various workstations as needed.
Responsibilities
Ensure personal and team safety by observing all safety rules and using proper safety equipment.
Plan and coordinate material flow to support plant manufacturing processes with a focus on high customer satisfaction.
Consistently meet quality standards.
Commit to achieving departmental safety goals.
Maintain and sustain 5S in the department.
Act as a spotter for the Shipping Team when clearing lines, loading trucks, or moving units in the yard.
Be accountable for department performance.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the Materials Team, resulting in cost reductions and process improvements.
Support production through accurate material movement and stockroom replenishment.
Continuously grow skills and expertise to adapt to multiple workstations.
Identify production shortages and coordinate solutions with purchasing.
Accurately complete paperwork or online data entry as required by the department.
Execute the movement of sheet metal material from final weld to assembly lines.
Handle the movement of kitted materials to production departments, ensuring timely delivery.
Maintain a neat and orderly staging area for all materials.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Promote sustainability by minimizing waste and energy usage, and maximizing recycling.
Support a culture of innovation by improving processes and translating new ideas into business opportunities.
Essential Skills
Knowledge of supply chain and warehouse operations.
Competent writing and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in math, including fractional computations and conversions.
Familiarity with safety procedures and quality standards.
Working knowledge of inventory management systems.
Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.
Understanding of LEAN principles, including 5S and basic continuous improvement techniques.
Computer skills for locating instructions and forms.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and understand blueprints and tape measures.
Comfortable using hand, power, and air tools.
Mechanically inclined, with experience in construction or manufacturing.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a manufacturing facility where the noise level is usually loud, and hearing protection is required. Most work is conducted indoors, although exposure to weather elements is possible with open bay doors. Expect to be active with standing, walking, reaching, and bending tasks. The facility requires steel toe or composite toe boots and provides other necessary PPE, including ear plugs and safety glasses. Working conditions include wide temperature fluctuations and the requirement for cleanliness, though you may get dirty during shifts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.66 - $19.66/hr.
