Kelly Services Quality Inspector in Milford, Connecticut
Job Title: Quality Inspector (3rd Shift)
Location: Milford, CT
Pay Rate: $26.20/hour
Shift Details:
Training: 1st Shift (4–5 weeks)
Regular Schedule: 3rd Shift, Sunday–Thursday, 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team on 3rd shift. This role is responsible for performing quality control inspections, maintaining documentation, and supporting production to ensure all products meet established standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform general and specific quality control inspections and maintain required documentation
Conduct hourly quality checks and complete shift reports
Utilize microscopes and precision measuring tools for inspections
Complete traceability documentation for molded components
Support production by performing operator tasks as needed
Identify and follow up on potential non-conformances in inventory and assembly
Communicate findings and coordinate with forklift operators and other departments
Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures
Additional Responsibilities
Perform related duties as assigned to support production and safety goals
Work collaboratively in a team environment or independently as needed
Follow complex procedures and instructions accurately
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with high-speed, automated production equipment preferred
Skills & Abilities:
Strong attention to detail
Basic math proficiency
Good analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills
Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions
Effective communication across departments
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
Ability to lift 15 lbs. repetitively and up to 50 lbs. as needed
Additional Requirements
Must pass a Quality test
Must be flexible with shifts as needed
Strong record of safety, quality, attendance, and performance
