Job Title: CNC Milling Machinist
Job Description
Join a mid-sized CNC manufacturing company with over 50 years of experience serving the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industries. We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis vertical CNC Milling machines. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the precision and quality of the components produced, contributing to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis vertical CNC Milling machines.
Utilize Fanuc controls for machine operations.
Write and edit basic CNC programs using G-code programming.
Program and work with positional indexers.
Read blueprints and apply working knowledge of GD&T.
Use various measuring instruments and gauges to verify production and first piece dimensions.
Ensure attention to detail, accuracy, and precision in all tasks.
Collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining.
Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC Milling machines.
Familiarity with Fanuc controls.
Ability to write and edit CNC programs in G-code.
Knowledge of positional indexers.
Blueprint reading and understanding of GD&T.
Competence in using measuring instruments and gauges.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment for Aerospace, Defense, or Medical industries is a plus.

Work Environment
This is a full-time position on the 1st shift, offering an extremely competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience. You will be working in a collaborative, team-based environment focused on precision and excellence.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
