Key job responsibilities
Work closely with HR leaders and management on HR-focused projects to create an engaging working environment.
Manage day-to-day HR administration, such as procedures for new staff, self-service tools and attendance reviews.
Use internal dashboards to generate reports for your site management.
Plan initiatives to promote the well-being and experience of on-site staff.
Perform audits to ensure compliance with business processes, data protection, local labour regulations and human resources procedures.
A day in the life
This is not an office role: you will work in the field, closely with logistics center teams. Depending on the location, you might work on rotating shifts with your HR Assistant colleagues. This ensures there is always an HR representative available to staff, to manage their requests and answer any questions. The HR Assistant role involves various activities. Besides helping us oversee key personnel management processes, you will support your team leaders in various projects aimed at engaging employees. This includes gathering employee feedback, organizing activities to involve them in new projects, or contributing to creating an inclusive work environment where every employee feels they can ask questions about HR topics.
Basic Qualifications
Effective communications skills, including presentation skills. You need to be able to inspire and earn trust with our associates and managers
Experience using Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Flexible to travel
Highly proficient in both spoken and written Italian language Good Command of English (Common European Framework of Reference B1)
Analytical skills (able to identify problem and a root cause, work with numbers, data, run metrics and pull reports...)
Confidentiality and composure when dealing with sensitive data and confidential information
Able to work independently and autonomously as well as working productively in a team setting
Education and experience in HR administration
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of local employment law, employee relations practices and Payroll would be advantageous
Experience managing HR information systems for data entry and time and attendance monitoring
Experience dealing with an operational workforce in a similar industry or in Factories sites
