The role

Location: Italy (Assago – close to Milano)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (minimum 2 days home office)

The Role

As our new Associate Project Manager, you will take on an administrative and coordination-focused role, working at the intersection of Project Management, Consulting, Sales, Business, and client engagement within an Italian / EMEA Technology Services environment.

You will support internal teams and contribute to the smooth execution of projects by managing transversal activities across GISO, PMO, and Delivery Teams.

You will play a visible role by contributing to project coordination, supporting solution design, and ensuring that delivery is aligned, high-quality, and outcome-driven.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support internal teams in preparing project tasks, tracking activities, and reporting

  • Assist in managing SWODP-related activities and PMO tools (e.g., ServiceNow)

  • Monitor and control timesheets and time tracking activities

  • Support budget controlling, participating in project reviews and forecast exercises

  • Assist in tracking and managing funds (Microsoft, AWS, Google)

  • Support customers in simple projects and Time & Materials engagements, including reporting

  • Contribute to monthly activity reviews and forecasting processes

  • Identify potential risks during project scoping and propose mitigation strategies

  • Propose improvements and innovation initiatives; contribute to RetEx (Return on Experience)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (GISO, PMO, Delivery) to ensure alignment and governance

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across business and IT functions

  • Track deliverables against timelines and ensure alignment with agreed scope

What we need to see from you

What we need to see from you

Essential:

  • Currently pursuing a University degree (ideally with up to 2 years remaining before graduation)

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and stakeholders

  • Good level of English (additional languages are a plus)

  • Analytical thinking with a structured approach to problem-solving

  • Basic understanding of IT methodologies (ITIL4, Agile)

  • High attention to detail when handling and presenting complex information

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in dynamic environments

    Desirable:

  • Initial experience in consulting or project environments (even limited experience)

  • Exposure to PMO tools (SWODP, ServiceNow)

  • Understanding of business processes and IT environments
