Part of Marriott International, Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan is currently recruiting a Housekeeping Supervisor.
Reporting to Director of Housekeeping, the role will cover Housekeeping tasks.
This is full-time position, 5 days a week with 2 days off.
The starting date is estimated in April

What you’ll do
Co-ordinate housekeeping activity, planning and distributing room-cleaning assignments with the outsourcing company.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas after they’ve been cleaned, to ensure the highest standards are being met.
Identify and report any maintenance issues and missing or damaged property liaising with Engineering and Security
Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities, especially laundry activities.
Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
Complete required paperwork.
Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Support team to reach common goals.
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the Director of Housekeeping.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures and company guidelines.
What you’ll need:
A warm, people-oriented demeanor and a team-first attitude
Positive outlook and outgoing personality
Flexibility, problem-solving skills and multi-tasking ability
Great storytelling skills in English and at least intermediate Italian (both writing and speaking)
Previous Housekeeping supervisory experience is a big plus
Ideally, technical knowledge of Opera
