Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $23 - $27 / hour*
What you'll be doing as an Brake Press Operator :
Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend metal materials according to specifications
Set up and operate CO laser cutting machines to cut metal components
Load and unload materials and finished parts from machines
Load machine program files and make necessary adjustments to ensure accurate production
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and optimize cutting and bending programs
Inspect and measure finished parts to verify they meet required specifications and tolerances
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist with additional tasks and production needs as assigned
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Minimum 1-2 years recent Press brake experience
CO2 laser experience preferred but not required.
Ability to read drawings, machine setup documents, and comprehend the evolution of creating a sheet metal part
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Windows operating system
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and be reliable
Background check required
