Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and dedicated Pipe Fitter to join our fire protection team. The responsibility of a Pipe Fitter is to successfully layout, fabricate, assemble, install fire sprinkler systems, as well as maintain piping system, fixtures and sprinklers. We are willing to train motivated candidates who are eager to learn and grow with company. Candidate must be able to pass a background check as well as a random drug test.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and align piping systems for fire protection according to project specifications.
• Assist with interpreting blueprints to determine the layout of pipelines and related structures. (Training available)
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Follow all workplace safety policy including use of PPE and fall protection as required.
• Use hand tools and power tools to measure, cut, thread and join pipe sections. (Provided as needed)
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with other trade professionals

Required

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work at heights (ladders, scaffolding, platforms, lifts)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to read and use a tape measure
• Willingness to undergo random drug testing
• Basic math skills
• Heavy Lifting -- able lift
• Work Holidays, On-call, Overtime, Weekends as needed, Monday - Friday

Preferred but Not Required

• Previous experience
• Familiarity with reading blueprints or mechanical drawings
