APTIM LDAR/ MOC Technician in Midland, Texas

Job Overview:

The LDAR MOC Technician will perform tagging, documentation/updating and inspection of components in the LDAR program. Will perform a variety of applicable data collection and evaluation techniques. Develops and maintains records. Work often involves complex analyzers, instrumentation or equipment for gathering data and for optimizing system performance.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Maintain LDAR component inventory.

  • Maintain the LDAR MOC program and perform applicability reviews.

  • Perform tasks at assigned projectassigs.11ยน1

  • Daily Analyzer calibration.

  • Routine repair and maintenance of analyzers.

  • Quarterly certification of analyzers.

  • Maintain and complete monitoring schedules.

  • Maintain record keeping on monitoring and repairs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Will perform work in adverse weather conditions on the field (Work in hot/cold environments, inclement weather)

  • Proficient understanding of PID's and LDAR tagging and inventory management.

  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Will be required to work at heights

  • Ability to climb tower ladders 100 ft.+, ascending/descending stairs up to ten flights or more

  • Ability to bend, stretch, walk and climb with 30 lb.+ backpack - up to 10 hours a day on concrete and/or steel surfaces

  • Ability to wear a full body harness and fall arrest system in addition to up to 30 lb.+ backpack containing monitoring equipment

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical

  • No relocation assistance provided

  • Must have a valid Driver's License

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $28 per hour. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
