Texas Pride Fuels, Ltd. Fuel Transport Driver - Class A, Tanker and Hazmat - West Texas Division in Midland, Texas

Who We Are: Texas Pride Fuels is an experienced full-service diesel and lubricant supplier to the oil and gas industry. We specialize in on-site hydraulic fracturing (frac) service all over Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, utilizing our proprietary automated fuel delivery operation. We hire motivated and professional drivers from the Midland-Odessa area, as well as drivers from the Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, El Paso, Abilene, Orla, and southeast New Mexico areas.

What You'll Do: Transport and deliver hazardous materials (diesel) in a full-size tanker trailer to customers, applying skills and experience in commercial driving and knowledge of hazmat safety and DOT regulations. 

When You'll Work: Base Schedule of 3 weeks on/1 week off, with opportunities to work longer.

  • Starting hourly rate of $25/hour, location-based shift differential

What We're Looking For:

  • Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements (X)

  • Position requires operating manual transmission (No E Restriction)

  • Minimum of 2 years Class A driving experience

  • Minimum of 2 years Tanker/Fluid driving experience.

  • Must be registered on the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse prior to start

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation Compliance.

  • Knowledge of OSHA Compliance.

  • Ability to speak, write and read the English language.

  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam.

  • Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations governing safe driving, “Hours of Service”, inspection and maintenance basics.

  • Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION.

  • Must satisfactorily pass a drug, alcohol and background check.

  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the work and the industry. 

  • Must be insurable with the company.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
