Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join a reputable utilities and infrastructure company in Midland, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent position that offers an opportunity to grow within the organization while contributing to critical operational processes. The role involves handling customer communications, coordinating service requests, and managing administrative tasks with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to incoming customer calls and provide prompt and attentive assistance.
• Dispatch technicians to service locations based on customer needs and available resources.
• Create and manage service tickets using company systems to track and resolve issues.
• Generate and process invoices accurately, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain inventory records for equipment and materials, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth dispatching operations.
• Utilize technology tools and software to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and handle high-volume situations. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in a dispatching or data entry role.
• Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound customer calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with data entry and invoicing software.
• Ability to adapt to change and think creatively to solve problems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple responsibilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks.
• Strong communication skills and customer service expertise.
• Ability to work occasional Saturdays as required by the position.
