ManpowerGroup Commercial HVAC Technician in Midland, Texas

Our client, a leader in industrial facilities management, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Compressor Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a vital part of the maintenance department, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of compressed air systems and related equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s values and goals.

Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technician

Location: Midland, TX

Pay Range: $30-31 (Temp-to-hire. then permanent hire)

What's the Job?

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air compressor systems, vacuum pumps, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of building systems and installed equipment, including large air compressors, HVAC units, and other mechanical systems.

  • Support system installations, modifications, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and safety.

  • Review, create, and maintain work orders within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

  • Inspect facilities and grounds for safety hazards or malfunctioning equipment, performing reactive and preventative maintenance as needed.

What's Needed?

  • Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in air compressor systems and vacuum pumps.

  • Experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenance, with a minimum of five (5) years in a related environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and work order management systems (CMMS).

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; EPA certification or willingness to obtain it.

  • High school diploma or GED; additional technical or vocational training preferred.
