The Role: Test, Troubleshoot, and Deliver
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented technician to join our Product Development team. You will work side-by-side with elite Engineers and Project Managers to characterize, debug, and perfect the next generation of RF hardware.
In this role, you will:
- Master the Bench: Utilize a full suite of high-end electronic equipment---including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and power meters---to test and characterize complex circuits.
- Solve Complex Puzzles: Dive deep into electronic assemblies to debug, troubleshoot, and repair systems down to the component level.
- Bridge Design and Reality: Interpret technical design documents and maintain meticulous records to ensure our products meet rigorous DoD and Space-grade standards.
- Drive Efficiency: Work within a fast-paced team to deliver high-quality tasks on schedule, contributing directly to the success of mission-critical programs.
- Continuous Improvement: Learn the NuWaves Quality Management System and contribute your own ideas to make our processes faster, leaner, and better.
What You Bring to the Table
- The Technician's Mindset: 1 to 6 years of experience in RF, the defense industry, or a military communications background.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and RF test equipment.
- Precision Skills: Strong soldering skills are a major plus (we will help you reach J-STD-001 proficiency within your first 3 months).
- Mission Focus: A "get it done" attitude with a commitment to quality and efficiency.
- Adaptability: The ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed in a dynamic lab environment.
