What You\'ll Do As a Design Engineering Intern, you\'ll play a hands-on role supporting our product development team - helping bring iconic Fiskars tools and innovations to life. You\'ll collaborate closely with design engineers, industrial designers, test lab specialists, and quality teams to support a range of product creation activities. Key Responsibilities: Create, review, and maintain product specifications in collaboration with our global centers of excellence (categories include scissors, tree pruners, and indoor gardening). Prepare and track test requests, ensuring timely follow-up with the lab. Develop and update 2D and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks. Support Windchill data management, including Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and maintenance. Operate and maintain 3D printers for prototype development. Partner with cross-functional teams - Industrial Design, Product Management, and Quality - to support the full design-to-production process. What You Bring We\'re looking for a curious and collaborative student who\'s ready to apply their technical skills and creativity to real-world projects. Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience & Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks (required). Familiarity with MS Office tools. Exposure to or interest in 3D printing and rapid prototyping. Experience with Windchill is a plus - training provided. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
