Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Middleton, Massachusetts

Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Middleton, Massachusetts. In this onsite role, you will serve as a vital link between our customers and various internal departments, ensuring smooth communication and efficient service. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

• Build and sustain positive relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

• Manage requests for quotes (RFQs), process purchase orders, and handle change orders with accuracy.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic and physical sales order files.

• Collaborate with sales, production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Perform detailed data entry tasks to support order processing and record management.

• Monitor and follow up on customer orders to ensure timely delivery and address any concerns.

• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, to manage and analyze data effectively.

• Stay attentive to detail in all aspects of the role to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of conduct. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably within a call center or manufacturing environment.

• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Familiarity with purchase orders and basic understanding of manufacturing processes is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. for this role.
