Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating advanced milling machines and manual mills to fabricate specialty parts for engineered products. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling machines, manual mills (Bridgeport), and manual engine lathes.
Machine, fabricate, and assist with sub-assembly of low-volume specialty parts.
Work independently from engineering drawings, blueprints, and sketches to maintain close tolerances.
Collaborate with engineers and designers on fixture setup, tooling choices, manufacturability, and prototype iterations.
Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and height gauges to verify quality and maintain dimensional accuracy.
Work with materials including stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and various plastics.
Maintain a clean and organized shop environment and adhere to safety and quality procedures.
Participate in integrating new machining equipment as capabilities expand.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of machining or manufacturing experience.
Proficiency with manual lathes, drill presses, and manual milling machines.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and tolerancing requirements.
Experience with Quality Control, precision measurement tools, and inspection methods.
Strong communication skills and familiarity with MS Excel and MS Word.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
CNC experience helpful but not required — training provided.
Experience working independently and in small engineering teams.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
