Brent Industries is seeking a motivated IT Technician to join our expanding team. As the primary point of contact for technical support, you will play a key role in maintaining our infrastructure and ensuring our hardware and software systems operate at peak performance. Help desk: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to hardware and software. Hardware Maintenance: Set up, configure, and maintain workstations and network appliances (laptops, tablets, monitors, and peripherals). Software Maintenance: Assist in identifying software bugs and work towards permanent fixes. Security: Ensure all devices are updated with the latest security patches and antivirus software.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Proficiency with Windows and Android OSs Basic understanding of Networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related applications An aptitude for low-level AI models (understanding prompt engineering or basic automation tools) Initiative-taking, able to independently work effectively and efficiently Attention to detail with the ability to effectively multi-task Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate professionally with other team members Technical support experience or associates degree preferred
