[Develop and manage all die, gage and fixture designs. Provide CNC Operators with the proper 3D Surface for machining purposes. Create design concepts, layouts, and solutions by investigating and analyzing customer specific problems. Contact for the startup of new or revised projects, and Engineering changes. Serve as first line contact for the startup of new or revised projects, including engineering changes, and be a technical support for Engineering department. Coordinate the purchasing of die components and materials for tooling in conjunction with the Purchasing department and be a technical support for Sales and Purchasing departments. Ensure that all suppliers have current and updated information and ensure outsourced jobs are being completed in a timely manner. Provide technical and design support to the Tool Room, Die Repair, CNC, and EDM departments. Maintain an accurate record keeping process on all projects that includes notes, faxes, e-mails, and telephone communications.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}
[Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study. Four (4) years related experience as a Design Engineer, Design Manager, or related occupation in the automotive supplier industry. Experience is required and must include: Creating design concepts, layouts, and solutions by utilizing CADKey and working with QS9000, APQP, PPAP, Run at Rate, GD&T principles and automotive customer requirements; and creating proper 3D Surface for CNC Operators for machining purposes; Managing and developing Tool and Die design projects; Working with pneumatic and hydraulic controls and simulation software for tools; Working with tools and dies standards with understanding of ISO-9001 and IATF - 16949 requirements; and Performing root cause analysis.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
