Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
Join a global leader in food and beverage ingredients at a state-of-the-art warehouse in Mickleton, NJ. We are seeking experienced sit-down forklift operators who are eager to grow and advance their careers in a dynamic environment.
Shift: 3:30pm to 12 midnight Monday to Friday (opportunity for overtime on Saturdays)
NOTE: must train 12pm to 8:30pm for couple weeks
Responsibilities
Operate sit-down forklift machines efficiently and safely.
Pick orders accurately using RF scanning equipment.
Manage pick ticket orders and pull warehouse items based on specifications.
Ensure the accuracy of orders and stage items correctly for delivery.
Read and process incoming order requests.
Adhere to quality and customer service standards.
Pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment.
Inspect and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Identify safety hazards in the workplace.
Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods.
Perform other duties as needed.
Essential Skills
Minimum 1+ years of experience operating powered forklifts.
Proficient in math and detail-oriented.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
High regard for safety in the workplace.
Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with various material-handling equipment.
Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety policies and requirements.

Work Environment
Work in a newly opened distribution warehouse in Mickleton, NJ. Initially, train with the first shift from 12 pm to 8:30 pm, then transition to a traditional 2nd shift schedule from 3:30 pm to 12 am, Monday through Friday, with weekend overtime as needed. The facility handles spices and coconut water; candidates should be comfortable with the spice aroma. The warehouse is not temperature controlled, and employees are required to wear steel toe boots, work pants, and plain tops (long or short sleeve) without graphics or writing. Hoodies and sweatshirts with strings are not permitted.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
