Job Title: CNC Operator
Job Description
Join our team as a CNC Operator in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will play a crucial role in setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in production.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines.
Load raw bar stock into the machine.
Ensure the machine operates at peak efficiency, with run times typically ranging from 20 to 45 minutes.
Rotate parts in the machine as necessary.
Perform quality control on finished parts using micrometers to ensure they meet blueprint specifications, holding to a tolerance of +/- .001.
Utilize an overhead crane to load parts into the machine when necessary.
Essential Skills
Experience with lathe operations, blueprint reading, and CNC machining.
Proficiency in using micrometers and other quality control tools.
Minimum of 2 years of CNC experience or possession of NIMS certifications.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in machining and operating CNC equipment.
Previous use of micrometers for quality control purposes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Michigan City, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $25.50/hr.
