CBRE Sr Financial Analyst in Miami, Florida
About the Role:
The Financial Consulting Group (FCG) of CBRE is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be part of the premier capital markets sales team in Miami specializing in the sale of industrial properties. This position will play an integral role in assignments ranging from one-off asset sales to the sale of large portfolios with responsibilities that go beyond the financial aspects of the deal involving all phases of the sales process.
The chosen candidate will have a strong foundational knowledge of financial/valuation concepts, experience in underwriting commercial real estate using ARGUS Enterprise, demonstrate a passion for real estate, work well in a dynamic team environment and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

What You'll Do:
Direct interaction with institutional network within CBRE, as well as with clients and investors.
Underwrite income-producing assets for disposition using Argus and Excel.
Analyze, review, and interpret real estate source documents, including operating statements, rent rolls, leases, and other due diligence material.
Research market conditions in support of financial underwriting assumptions.
Compile and present the results of analyses and effectively address questions.
Identify critical property level financial issues and make recommendations.
Develop disposition strategies in conjunction with team members and clients.
Communicate directly with capital markets professionals, asset managers, leasing brokers, property managers and clients.
Coordinate collection of due diligence material and assist with the closing process.
Gather and track critical financial data points for research and negotiation purposes.
Present results of analyses in a formal client setting to audiences with a wide range of financial acumen.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources like technology and artificial intelligence within or outside the department.
Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
4+ years of experience in underwriting commercial real estate.
Extensive experience working with ARGUS DCF and/or ARGUS Enterprise financial modeling software for all types of commercial real estate is preferred.
Intermediate to advanced Excel experience with formula auditing, VBA macros, template building, Pivot Tables, etc.
Highly-developed verbal and written communication skills – ability to interact effectively and professionally with a wide variety of internal and external parties
Intellectual curiosity with a demonstrated enthusiasm for the commercial real estate industry.
Self-starter with sharp focus on details with an awareness of the bigger picture.
Ability to manage time effectively and work under the pressure of multiple deadlines.
Ability to think creatively to resolve problems.
A sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results in a challenging, fast-paced, environment.
Real estate license will be required within six months of employment.
Sophisticated math & data skills.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
