Description
We are looking for a meticulous and resourceful Procurement Specialist to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee the purchasing process for non-garment corporate needs, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in handling an annual spend. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with vendors, manage purchase orders, and contribute to the seamless operation of our procurement activities.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including creating purchase orders and tracking purchases to completion.
• Collaborate with internal teams to assess procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any issues that arise.
• Reconcile orders and invoices, ensuring accurate coding and documentation for all transactions.
• Regularly update and maintain detailed purchase logs to support operational transparency.
• Utilize Excel to create pivot tables and analyze procurement data effectively.
• Oversee Amazon procurement and other purchasing platforms, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders across various departments.
Requirements • Strong mathematical skills, including proficiency in calculating percentages and analyzing price differences.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in vendor relations or procurement.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables.
• Familiarity with purchase order processes and procurement functions.
• Experience with Google Suite applications is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
