Job Title: Production Worker 3rd shift
Job Description
The General Labor plays a key role in the concrete paver production process by monitoring, handling, and assisting in the curing and finishing stages to ensure that every product meets strict quality, consistency, and safety standards. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position in a hot, wet, and dusty manufacturing environment, suited for individuals who are comfortable working in industrial conditions and staying on their feet throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
Assist in the curing and finishing processes of concrete pavers to ensure consistent quality and appearance.
Monitor pavers throughout production to verify they meet established quality standards and specifications.
Handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently during all stages of the process.
Use hand tools, including polishers and grinders, to support finishing and production tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with facility housekeeping standards.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily and weekly production goals.
Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality concerns immediately to the appropriate personnel.
Perform general labor, production, and assembly tasks as needed to support overall manufacturing operations.
Lift, move, and position materials and products, including items up to 50 pounds, throughout the shift.
Consistently follow production standards, work instructions, and shift schedules, including overtime when required.
Essential Skills
Ability to perform heavy lifting, including safely lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Comfort working in a hot, wet, and dusty industrial manufacturing environment.
Capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift continuously during the entire shift.
Experience or strong aptitude for production, manufacturing, construction, or general labor work.
Ability to use basic hand tools, including polishers and grinders, in a safe and effective manner.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to follow established safety and production standards.
Ability to work assigned shift consistently, including required overtime.
Toe protection (such as safety footwear with protective toes) is required while on the production floor.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, Spanish, or Creole.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous industrial, manufacturing, or construction experience is preferred but not required.
Experience in general labor, production, assembly, or general production environments is beneficial.
Bilingual communication skills are highly preferred, especially in Creole or Spanish.
Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and safety procedures during on-the-job training.

Work Environment
This position is based in a concrete paver manufacturing facility with hot working conditions due to the production processes. Floors are often wet because water is used to mix concrete, and the environment is dusty as fans circulate air and concrete dust is generated during cutting operations. Team members spend most of the shift standing, walking, bending, and lifting, and must be comfortable with continuous physical activity. The standard schedule for this role is a third shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with the requirement to work overtime as needed. New hires train on first shift for approximately 3 to 4 weeks, typically from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., before moving to the regular shift. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including toe protection and other required safety gear, must be worn at all times in production areas. The environment is fast-paced, production-focused, and safety-oriented, with regular use of hand tools such as polishers and grinders to support daily operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
