Description
We are looking for a diligent and personable Bilingual Spanish Medical Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the medical front office. Your attention to detail and ability to manage scheduling and patient check-ins will be essential to delivering excellent service. This is a 3-week contract position.
Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported.
• Handle patient check-ins and verify necessary documentation for appointments.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently, coordinating with medical staff as needed.
• Maintain an organized and detail-oriented front office environment.
• Answer phone calls and address inquiries with accuracy and courtesy.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry.
• Ensure patient information is accurately recorded and updated in the system.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and staff to support seamless operations.
• Uphold confidentiality and follow all relevant medical office protocols.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a medical front office or receptionist role.
• Proficiency in patient scheduling and appointment management.
• Familiarity with basic medical terminology.
• Bilingual Spanish
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
• Comfortable using office equipment and computer systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
