The Front End Lead Developer will lead the design and development of modern web POS / retail store application user interfaces using a React-based micro‑front‑end approach. This role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, owning UI standards, extensibility, and UX consistency across the application. The lead will guide developers, collaborate closely with backend and integration teams, and ensure high‑quality, scalable, and maintainable UI solutions suitable for store operations.
Requirements:
6–10 years of front-end development experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead or module‑lead role
React.js (components, basic state handling, routing fundamentals)
JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript (basic to intermediate)
HTML5 (semantic markup)
CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid, responsive design)
UI libraries (Bootstrap / Tailwind / Material UI)
ADVANCED ENGLISH IS A MUST
Hybrid role in CDMX
Key Responsibilities:
Lead development of web UI using React.js, delivering modular, extensible micro‑front‑end components and reusable UI patterns.
Own UI customization and extension development, building store/business‑specific workflows, screens, and enhancements while maintaining UX consistency.
Define and enforce front-end engineering standards including component design, coding practices, PR reviews, and UI performance guidelines.
Collaborate with backend and integration teams to consume REST APIs, validate end‑to‑end transactional flows, and align UI behavior with business logic.
Mentor developers, support SIT/UAT and rollout phases, and actively participate in defect triage, stabilization, and continuous improvement.
