Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Lead with 3 to 5 years of experience in Desktop Support to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will excel in providing remote support ensuring seamless operations and enhancing user experience. This role involves day shifts and does not require travel allowing for a balanced work-life integration.
Responsibilities
Provide expert remote desktop support to ensure smooth and efficient operations for all users.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective support strategies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in desktop support.
Ensure all support requests are logged and tracked in the system for accurate reporting and analysis.
Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance user proficiency and reduce support requests.
Oversee the installation and configuration of desktop systems and software applications.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to prevent disruptions.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of hardware and software issues.
Document all support processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in service delivery.
Provide feedback and recommendations for improving support processes and user experience.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all support activities.
Contribute to the development of support documentation and knowledge base articles.
Qualifications
Possess a strong understanding of desktop support principles and practices.
Demonstrate proficiency in remote support tools and technologies.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Have strong communication skills to effectively interact with users and team members.
Show ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Hold a relevant certification such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
