The Position

The Product Manager NGS design and execute the comprehensive strategy for Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) to maximize its market value, ensuring diagnostic solutions reach the right patients at the right time. Act as a technical and commercial bridge, connecting healthcare ecosystem needs with Roche's innovative capabilities.

Your Opportunity

The responsibilities for this role include:

Product Line Strategy:

● Product Life Cycle: Define and lead the launch and positioning strategy for new diagnostic solutions, as well as the lifecycle management of current portfolios.

● Market Analysis: Perform detailed mapping of competitors and trends by product line (e.g., Immunology, Molecular Biology, Digital Health) to identify gaps and growth opportunities.

● Value Proposition: Co-create integrated solutions with squads that go beyond instrumentation, solving workflow inefficiencies within the lab and hospital settings.

Commercial Management:

● Forecasting & Budgeting: Manage the marketing budget and sales projections for the line, identifying key dates for tenders and technological renewals.

● Training: Serve as the subject matter expert for the commercial team, ensuring Key Account Partners (KAPs) master the clinical benefits of the portfolio.

● Data-Driven Insights: Utilize CRM data to analyze and adjust product strategies based on market behavior and customer feedback.

Ecosystem Engagement:

● Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs): Build strong relationships with medical and technical experts to validate the clinical value of the diagnostic line.

● Market Access: Collaborate with the Access team to ensure the regulatory and reimbursement landscape supports the adoption of new diagnostic technologies.

Who you are

The person in this position has excellent collaboration skills, posses the ability to build relationships and interact with medical stakeholders, laboratory heads, professional associations, and decision-makers in public and private institutions among other stakeholders.

  • University degree in Health Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Medicine) or Business/Economics with a technical focus. Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration (MBA), or Health Policy is desirable.

  • Minimum of 5–7 years in Marketing or Product Management within the Diagnostic, Medical Device, or Pharmaceutical industries with proven track record in successful product launches and strategic project management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and deep understanding of the Mexican/Regional diagnostic market.

  • Agile methodologies, digital marketing, and strategic selling is a nice to have

  • English proficiency intermediate to advanced.
