Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented Change Management Program Manager in the International Change Management team within the Engineering Services organization to play a critical role in managing Amazon's fast growth and technology innovation needs. The successful candidate will be a natural self-starter, highly motivated individual and have a strong level of ownership. This individual will report to the Sr. Manager for Change Management and will support other teams to deliver fulfillment network capacity on time.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage Project Management Office (PMO) planning for Amazon projects
• Own end-to-end Module Design List for assigned projects and mentor team members on module design improvements
• Review new module change requests from corporate and site stakeholders against existing standards and facilitate cross-functional evaluation
• Own end-to-end process, tools, and mechanisms for Module Change Requests, ensuring evaluation and resolution within established SLAs
• Identify process defects through stakeholder feedback and audits, leading measurable defect reduction initiatives
• Lead process improvement projects and develop new tools to support business objectives
• Manage strategic non-portfolio program development and facilitate program-level meetings and tracking
• Foster a culture of collaboration to ensure stakeholders are aligned and customer solutions are delivered with precision
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Safety, ACES, PE, Engineering, Procurement, GES) during design, execution, and launch phases
• Ensure timely elevation and resolution of potential risks and issues with technical partners
• Identify and address customer and business pain points through data analysis and operational process deep dives
• Work with Global Engineering Services (GES) and partners to identify cost reduction and avoidance opportunities
• Demonstrate proactive approach in solving design problems for the wider business and facilitate lessons learned at the network level
• Flexibility to travel up to 30% across projects
About the team
The Module Design Team (MDT) is a specialized design function within International Integrated Design Services (IDS), part of Amazon's Global Engineering Core Services (GECS). The team's focus is: To deliver efficient, standardized module solutions through proactive product module management, ensuring decision velocity, process clarity, and streamlined access to design standards for site delivery teams across International regions. To maximize value to the business through module redundancy reduction and network-level standardization, driving reusable design components across all building types, all miles. To ensure thorough evaluation of Module Change Requests within established SLAs, leading to cost avoidance through strategic assessment and facilitating lessons learned at the network level.
Basic Qualifications
Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
3+ years of program or project management experience
3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
3+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
Experience in process design/improvements/optimization
French, German, Polish, Portuguese, Arabic, Turkish, Afrikaans and Zulu are considered preferred qualifications.
