We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as Instructional Designer
Job Summary
As an Instructional Designer, you’ l co laborate with Technical Curriculum Developers, Learning Experience Designers, and subject matter experts to design and produce both synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
Responsibilities
● Support the design and development of a range of learning experiences, including: video-based, HTML5, instructor-led and blended learning
solutions.
● Colaborate with subject matter experts in a variety of fields to help translate their knowledge into an effective learning experience for others.
● Build strong relationships with stakeholders to set and manage expectations, create project plans, and regularly communicate project updates and status.
● Design and develop learning content using tools like Google Workspace, Evolve, and Rise.
Qualifications
● 3-5 years experience designing and developing learning solutions for a variety of formats and audiences (e.g. instructor-led training, elearning, microlearning).
● BA/BS degree in Learning Design, Creative Writing, English, Education, or other related field, or equivalent practical experience.
● Exceptional written communication and editing skils in English, with a demonstrated ability to make complex technical concepts clear, concise, and easily understandable.
● Experience with eLearning authoring tools (such as Articulate Rise and Evolve).
● 1-2 years experience in video editing, including familiarity with Adobe Premiere or similar tools.
Preferred qualifications:
● Strong writing skils, and a track record of delivery and impact.
● Knowledge of learning format options and adult learning theories
● Demonstrated ability to communicate technicaly complex concepts concisely and clearly.
● Ability to deliver in a climate of ambiguity and with changing tools and technical limitations.
