Maintenance Engineer
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role focuses on preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maintain efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Develop and maintain maintenance plans, schedules, and documentation
Analyze equipment failures and implement root cause corrective actions
Support equipment installation, commissioning, and upgrades
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to minimize downtime
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors and contractors
Identify and implement continuous improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives
Prepare technical reports and maintenance metrics (MTTR, MTBF, downtime)
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Technical diploma with strong experience may be considered)
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in maintenance engineering or industrial maintenance
Experience in manufacturing, automotive, electronics, or facilities maintenance preferred
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting , automation, or control systems (preferred)
Experience with CMMS systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
