Honeywell HSE Engineer II (2nd shift) in Mexicali, Mexico

Develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement engineering solutions and preventive measures.
Develop and implement safety training programs to promote a culture of safety
Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into business processes
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics, Industrial Hygiene knowledge
At least 4 years of experience in HSE engineering
In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
Proficiency in risk assessment and incident investigation techniques
Advanced English
Availability to work second shift (2pm-11pm)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with ISO safety regulations
Experience with supporting safety programs (LOTO, machine guarding, electrical safety, PPE, hot work, confined space entry, fall protection, etc)
Experience with Industrial Hygiene Practices
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio and SAP
