Amazon is focused on ensuring its associates can work in a safe, quality focused environment. Our learning teams are responsible for delivering and providing high quality safety compliance, process and onboarding training to ensure that our associates are set up for success.

We are looking for a Learning & Training Coordinator with background in last mile deliveries, logistics or with a manufacturer experience. The ACES Learning Coordinator:

  • Works with operations team and local trainers to coordinate Amazon Associates onboarding activities for the site and overall training needs.

  • Provide support in SSD GK (Sub same day Gray Kangaroo program) in order to establish standards and provide support in launches, retrofits or any issue related to this program.

  • Will be responsible for understanding operational needs to deploy and execute learning & training plans to support Delivery Station execution, aligned with Learning Manager strategy. This role will be focused on develop and coordinate material and training sessions execution along with Trainers to impact new Amazon Associates, focused on improving operational metrics by standardizing process execution which is translated in continue operational support during day and night shifts.

  • Constantly improves the long-term capabilities of the area to which the Learning Coordinator is assigned. This position has a high level of program administrative management. The Delivery Station Learning Coordinator is assigned to the Learning Department and will hold responsibilities specific to that area. Overall responsibilities will include the following functions

• Coordinate and track new hire onboarding and ambassador development

• Coordinate site Associate learning experience programs and assigning Learn Before Doing plans for operations

• Track learning curve and continuous improvement metrics at the site level

• Audit and ensure Safety Training program and standard work execution

• Execute training programs for both seasonal and permanent trainers

• Coordinate and facilitate any training related programs

• Supports ticketing system and ensure tickets are closed within expected timeline

• Develop and track effectiveness of training programs, including orientation. Monitor adherence to the established training programs to ensure standard work in the training programs

• Actively seek ongoing skill development (i.e., participating and conducting skill classes, cross-training, etc.)

• Document feedback results to help the learning department identify strengths as well as area of improvement

• Assess development needs for individuals and groups

• Fully understand workflow and daily production goals

• Ability to solve problems: react quickly and productively, serving as a resource for specific problems and undertaking the appropriate steps to resolve

• Balance and prioritize multiple tasks

• Maintain a positive attitude and presence on the floor

A day in the life

We support Operations and move according to their needs. Work a flexible Schedule. If required, willing to work sometimes at nights and rotate shifts including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Travel up to 20% of the time as per as business needs.

Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts.

Noise level varies and can be loud.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)

  • Work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

  • +1 years of project management

  • +1 years field experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience in one or more of the following fields: technical, security or privacy education/training, information security, risk management, corporate communications, program management, project management, psychology or other related field
