GPC Power Delivery High School Temporary 2026 Summer Internship

Candidate must currently live within a reasonable, daily commuting distance to the operating headquarters

Intern is an entry level physically demanding position that requires manual labor. This position Georgia Power Delivery & Shared Services covered work crews. Ability to work in a physically demanding work environment, and ability to work in all types of weather conditions is desired.

Qualifications

- High School diploma or equivalent required

- Individuals also must always demonstrate the ability and desire to work safely and display ethical behavior

- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more

- Shift: Day shift

Requirements for employment as an Intern include:

- Must be at least 18 years of age or turning 18 by September 1, 2026

- Possess a valid driver's license.

- Available to work Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:00 PM.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with the opportunity for future employment opportunities if the candidate is successful and positions are available.
