Position Overview:

The IT Transformation Office is a high‑impact, enterprise function responsible for how IT plans, invests, and delivers value to the business. Acting as the operational and strategic core of IT, the team spans IT Strategy, AI enabled IT Transformation, Enterprise PMO, Change Management, Vendor Management and IT Shared Services to ensure seamless, customer‑centric engagement across the organization.

The office leads IT transformation initiatives that modernize technology platforms, operating models, and delivery practices—driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation. As the owner of project and product demand management processes, the IT Transformation Office brings structure, transparency, and prioritization to the IT portfolio, enabling faster decision‑making and better business outcomes.

What You'll Do

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of complex IT projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Project Oversight:

  • Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

  • Monitor and control project budgets, resources, and timelines.

  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Lead transformation initiatives to modernize platforms, operating models, and delivery practices to improve speed, quality, and business outcomes.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact between project teams and stakeholders.

  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to executive leadership and project sponsors.

  • Facilitate regular meetings to ensure alignment and gather feedback.

  • Prepare and facilitate monthly ITLT Meeting.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and enforce best practices for project management and delivery.

  • Assist in mentoring new project managers.

  • Conduct regular assessments of project performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with relevant regulations.

Change Management:

  • Lead change management efforts related to IT projects, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT project

Team Leadership:

  • Coach and mentor Project Managers and Jr. Project Managers and share knowledge of best practices.

Applied AI:

  • Proven experience applying Agentic AI to modernize PMO execution, creating agents that reduce manual coordination and reporting while improving portfolio transparency and delivery predictability.

  • Hands-on builder mindset with AI agents—able to identify repeatable PMO tasks, translate them into automated agent workflows, and drive adoption with clear metrics and governance.

  • Process Improvements: Experience identifying bottlenecks, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement across teams and processes.

  • Applied AI: Experience leveraging applied AI to improve decision-making, automate routine work, and enhance product and process outcomes.

Knowledge

The Senior IT Project Manager must have in-depth knowledge and experience of the following:

  • IT Landscape: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies.

  • Industry Best Practices: Knowledge of industry best practices in project management.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

  • Emerging Technologies: Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in the IT field.

  • Project Management Software: Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Smartsheet and ServiceNow

Experience

The following experience is considered essential:

  • Proven Track Record: A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience successfully managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion.

  • Large-Scale Implementations: Demonstrated experience overseeing large-scale IT implementations, system integrations, or enterprise-wide projects.

  • Budget Management: Proven ability to manage project budgets effectively, ensuring financial objectives are met.

  • Stakeholder Management: Track record of effectively managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, including executive leadership, project teams, and external partners.

  • Risk Mitigation: Demonstrated expertise in identifying, assessing, and proactively mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Change Management: Experience leading change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption in a dynamic organizational environment.

The following experience is considered desirable:

  • Industry-Specific Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing is a plus.

  • Certifications: Possession of advanced certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certifications are highly desirable.

  • Global Project Experience: Experience managing IT projects on a global scale with an understanding of diverse cultural and operational environments.

  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams with members from diverse technical and non-technical backgrounds.

  • Innovation Leadership: Track record of fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within IT projects.

Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Solid understanding of IT project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

The hiring range for this position is $87,800 - $128,750 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
