SIMOS Warehouse Production Lead in Mesquite, Texas

SIMOS is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead for a large distribution center in HEATHRIDGE, TX. This position is responsible for coordinating associate activities within the production process and monitoring performance. The ideal candidate is committed to coaching team members and supporting improvements in training, productivity, quality, safety, and attendance. The Warehouse Team Lead will also assist with setting daily and weekly work assignments for staff.
A minimum of 1 year of recent warehouse systems or operations experience is required. A resume is required for consideration.
Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm. Must be available to work overtime
This role requires schedule flexibility, including early start times and late departures, in line with lead responsibilities.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / hour
Duties:

Assist in day-to-day operations as needed
Communicate effectively with supervisor and client operations
Train new hires in all available departments
Monitor performance and safety for every associate
Effectively engage with team members to help cultivate
Assist in ongoing tasks to service the client on-site.
Moderate work with computers and integrated operating systems
Limited OT opportunities will be available

Position Requirements:
Ability to lift parts weighing up to 70 lbs. without powered equipment assistance
Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions
Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic
Ability to coordinate maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace
Ability to utilize personal protective equipment which may include gloves, safety harnesses, and safety shoes
Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment
Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 75 pounds., required education: No Education Requirement.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $21.50 - $21.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
