Provides oversight and coordination of compliance and accreditation activities, ensuring adherence to CMS, AAAHC, and other regulatory requirements through monitoring, audits, and survey readiness efforts. Implements and supports the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to improve clinical and operational performance. Coordinates the Risk Management program, including tracking, investigating, and analyzing patient safety events using established methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis. Serves as a technical resource to leadership and staff on quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance; assists in preparing reports, briefings, and training materials. Monitors patient grievance processes and supports staff education and program activities to promote compliance, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement. BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): Education Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: Major case study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Led healthcare quality and compliance programs to make sure the organization met CMS, AAAHC, and other regulatory requirements. Used data, audits, and risk analysis to find problems, improve patient safety, and support better care and operations. Advised leadership on quality and compliance issues, managed improvement projects, and supervised staff while overseeing accreditation and organization-wide quality activities.
