Job Description:
Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven by delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Production Control Coordinator to manage the end-to-end execution of customer orders and ensure on-time delivery across a dynamic, high-mix, low-volume production setting.
This role is critical in aligning production priorities, materials, and cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations while maintaining efficiency and accuracy within our ERP system.
What You Will Do
Own on-time delivery performance for assigned customers, managing orders from release through shipment
Establish and adjust production priorities based on customer demand, lead times, and capacity constraints
Create, review, and release manufacturing jobs in Epicor, ensuring accuracy of BOMs, routings, and due dates
Utilize MRP outputs to align supply and demand, including job releases, rescheduling, and material planning
Coordinate quick-turn and prototype orders, ensuring rapid alignment across materials, engineering, and production
Ensure material readiness and proactively resolve shortages, constraints, or engineering gaps
Act as a central point of coordination across Engineering, Quality, Production, and Sales
Monitor job progress and production flow, removing bottlenecks and expediting orders as needed
Communicate order status, risks, and recovery plans to internal stakeholders and customers
Support cost awareness by reviewing labor and material usage and escalating discrepancies
Maintain data integrity within Epicor, ensuring accurate job status, inventory transactions, and reporting
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 2 years of experience in production control, planning, or manufacturing
Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment preferred
Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP strongly preferred
Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing demands
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and execution
Education
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred

The starting salary range for this position is $60,800 – $76,000 . Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
