KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Troubleshoot and repair production machines such as hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, presses, mixers, filament winders, casting, and powder processing equipment.
• Make modifications to production tooling, fixtures, and equipment per engineering drawings.
• Install and/or modify pneumatic and vacuum lines throughout the facility.
• Coordinate and perform removal of equipment to be repaired off site, transport to and from various facilities using lifts, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment in a timely manner.
• Promptly respond to dispatch calls for corrective maintenance tasks on production and facility equipment.
• Maintain clear and accurate equipment maintenance and repair records in the computerized machine maintenance system (CMMS).
• Knowledge of and experience using common power and hand tools to perform daily job duties.
• May be required to be on-call and able to quickly respond to off-hour requests for remote troubleshooting or come onsite to perform equipment repairs for mission critical operations on a rotating basis.
• Experience in machining, welding, and metal fabrication is a plus.
• Follow company standard operating procedures including lockout tagout (LOTO), management of change (MOC), etc.
• Strictly adhere to all Nammo safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
COOPERATION
This role requires collaboration across internal teams and with external stakeholders.
LEVEL OF DECISION MAKING
This position requires the ability to make autonomous decisions daily.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2-5 years of related experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
• Driving and background checks are required
• Able to read and interpret technical documents such as engineering drawings, operating and maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams, etc.
• Able to calculate area, circumference, pressure, percentages, etc.
• Able to accurately write reports and communicate effectively with other employees
• Able to obtain BATF approval to engage in certain explosive operations
• Able to obtain OSHA 10-hour General Industry Safety and Health certification (minimum) if not already certified
