We are seeking a skilled and passionate CAD Technician/3D Modeler with 2-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a vital team member, you will contribute to innovative and architecturally advanced projects while advancing your professional career. Your primary focus will be on designing and laying out roofing and wall systems, as well as other product lines. You will be responsible for developing detailed 2D drawings using CAD software and 3D parametric models in Rhino/Grasshopper software. This role involves creating detailed shop and fabrication drawings based on specifications from engineers and architects. Responsibilities
Ensure and inspect that product quality standards are consistently met while maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Monitor incoming, outgoing, and in-production status goods, perform inspections, track stock movement, and support process improvements to reduce errors, waste, and stock discrepancies.
Identify quality issues, report findings, and support corrective actions.
Assist in developing and improving quality and process procedures and standards.
Perform routine cycle counts and participate in physical inventory audits.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting with a focus on metal parts and manufacturing environments.
Experience in creating or modifying 2D/3D details and drawings according to architectural plans, engineering updates, and sales requests.
Ability to compile drawing packages for submittal and manufacture.
Skill in calculating material quantities and releasing materials for fabrication by the manufacturing facility.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in quality and inventory management.
Knowledge of material handling and sheet metal design.
Ability to assist in maintaining the organization of shared folders.
Positive attitude and high level of enthusiasm for the company, employees, and products.
Ability to perform various CAD/project support tasks as required.
Work Environment
This position is a contract-to-hire role, working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. You will operate within a manufacturing and office space environment, focusing on quality control and process improvements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
