Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This position involves installing and maintaining refrigeration systems, interpreting technical drawings, and troubleshooting equipment failures. Our ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC and refrigeration, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics.
Install PLC control systems and refrigeration units.
Observe and test newly built systems.
Troubleshoot refrigeration equipment failures.
Replace worn seals, outer shells, and motors.
Essential Skills
Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, repair, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in building and testing new refrigeration systems.
Experience with air-cooled chiller units.
Ability to perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and brazing techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience as a refrigeration technician.
HVAC certification.
Brazing and soldering skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work on an assembly line in a climate-controlled environment.

Work Environment
This role requires physical activity, including the ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch. You will need to climb portable ladders and use personal protection equipment. The work environment requires good manual dexterity and coordination, as tasks involve hand, arm, and multi-limb coordination. The position is based in a climate-controlled assembly line setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
