Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced General Laborer to support our rough carpentry and self-perform division at a hospital construction site. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial construction and will be responsible for various tasks, including minor rough carpentry and setting up temporary window protection.
Responsibilities
Perform all general labor tasks on the construction site.
Assist with minor rough carpentry duties.
Set up temporary window protection.
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with other trades and subcontractors on-site.
Essential Skills
At least 3+ years of commercial construction experience.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Experience in healthcare construction is a plus.
Lull and Scissor Lift Certification.
Ability to read and work from blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Scissor Lift & Fall Protection Certifications are beneficial.
Possession of PPE and hand/power tools.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Work Environment
The work environment is a construction site located at a hospital. Expect exposure to varying weather conditions, as the site will be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. You will be working alongside additional subcontractors and trades on campus.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Merritt Island, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
