LINCOLN COUNTY Public Health Nurse in MERRILL, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION OVERVIEW: Provides public health nursing services to individuals, families, and population groups. Duties include communicable disease follow-up, immunizations, oral health services, and maternal and child health. Nursing activities include, but are not limited to, analysis of health data, vaccinations, health screening and follow-up, health education and advocacy, coalition building and collaborating with community partners to promote the health of a population. The public health nurse can be expected to assist in the provision of public health services in the event of a public health emergency. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin required. One to two years\' experience in public health nursing preferred. Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school preferred.
